FamilySafe is an end-to-end encrypted vault for personal records — finance, legal, identity, health, digital assets — built around an uncompromising promise: the servers cannot decrypt vault contents under any circumstance, not with a database dump, not under court order. Prove built the riskiest feature first — a working two-layer Shamir's Secret Sharing scheme for executor death-unlock, in real production code. Build turned the roadmap into the full platform, feature by feature, visible in a 24/7 preview environment throughout. Grow now runs the live infrastructure on our managed Kubernetes estate, with continuous security patching, monitoring, and ongoing feature slices including the in-product AI assistant.
VirtualDcs is a company founded by Richard May, Techweave's co-founder. The business was operating with slow manual deployments, no CI/CD, and zero test coverage. Techweave stepped in to transform the entire delivery process — migrating the codebase from GitHub to Azure DevOps, building end-to-end release pipelines, delivering a full Selenium automation suite, and introducing structured error trapping and trace logging throughout.
Before co-founding Techweave, Richard May founded Nimbox — a zero-knowledge encrypted cloud collaboration platform that lets teams securely share and work on sensitive information while giving organisations full audit controls and regulatory compliance. Richard built the product from the ground up: secure file sharing, real-time collaborative document editing, desktop and server backup, remote file server access, and encrypted cloud storage across Windows, Mac, Mobile, and Server. Nimbox grew to serve thousands of users worldwide — including banks, law firms, accountants, governments, and healthcare providers — before Richard successfully exited the business.
